Youth Business Forum in collaboration with Belgrade Open School and Institute for Development and Innovation is organizing an online educational program on starting your own business, under the WeB4YES project – Western Balkan Civil Society Organizations for Youth Employment Support which is supported by European Commission.
Youth Business Forum’s educational program for sixth generation will be organized in June (6.-22.). The aim of the program is to educate 30 young people across Serbia about entrepreneurship and to give them basic skills for starting a business. The training will be implemented in cooperation with private sector representatives specifically oriented towards certain segments of business.
The young people will get an opportunity to learn more about: marketing, sales, market analysis, procedures for establishing a business, market positioning, analysis of competition, etc. This year, the whole program is going to be organized online because of the safety of all participants. The main mentor will follow all participants from start to end of the program and work interactively with them. Besides that, the educational materials for specific phases of starting a business will be available to participants during the program. In addition, the program includes panels and workshops where participants will have a chance to be interactively involved and to follow this part of program in real time.
At the end of program participating teams will present business ideas to selected Committee in a form of 5 minute pitching session. In addition, the best five teams will be involved in mentorship program which is going to last six months.
